Transportation Construction Project Manager

Civil Science is seeking an experienced Transportation Construction Manager to lead Idaho Transportation Department construction projects throughout Idaho. The role involves overseeing transportation construction projects from pre-construction through closeout, strengthening partnerships with the Idaho Transportation Department, and mentoring inspection staff.

Requirements

• Lead and manage ITD transportation construction projects
• Oversee Construction Lead Inspectors and field staff
• Manage scope, schedule, budget, and contract administration
• Ensure compliance with ITD standards and specifications
• Coordinate with contractors, agency representatives, and stakeholders
• Utilize AASHTOWARE and ProjectWise effectively
• Support proposal efforts and future construction contract opportunities
• Maintain a utilization target of 65%
• Develop and expand project revenue
• Attend field reviews, meetings, and occasional overnight project travel
• Mentor and develop inspection staff and emerging leaders
