Requirements

• Provides anesthesia services for surgical operations, medical procedures, and obstetric services.
• Evaluates data to determine and discuss the optimal anesthetic plan.
• Administers anesthesia via the most appropriate method for each patient's procedure.
• Provides continuous monitoring of vital signs, volume status, and patient positioning during medical/surgical procedures.
• Interprets and addresses abnormal diagnostic data and changes in signs and symptoms.
• Identifies emergency situations and critical changes in patients' status, and notifies surgeon and seeks assistance from the perioperative and anesthesia teams as needed.
