Job Description
Founding Engineer (Systems / Platform) to design and scale high-throughput, distributed infrastructure powering AI and data products at scale for Consuma, a company building the intelligence layer for modern brands.
Requirements
- 5+ years experience as Backend / Systems / Platform Engineer
- Must have been a founding engineer previously or seen 0-1 single journey
- Strong experience building and scaling distributed systems in production
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and cloud-native architectures
- Strong knowledge of streaming and messaging systems like Kafka
- Experience building Big Data pipelines using Spark or similar tools
- Experience with at least one cloud provider: AWS, Azure, or GCP
- Strong fundamentals in system design, data structures, and performance tuning
