Job Description
Lead Platform Engineer to design and scale internal platforms, improve developer experience, and drive reliability across systems in a fast-growing consulting environment.
Requirements
- Minimum 8+ years of experience as a Software Engineer
- Strong experience managing large-scale infrastructure systems
- Deep understanding of software reliability and distributed systems
- Proficiency in at least one programming language
- Experience building internal platforms (infra or business platforms)
- Strong knowledge of observability, telemetry, and incident management
- Hands-on experience with cloud-native tools (Prometheus, OpenTelemetry, Envoy)
- Expertise in containers and orchestration (Kubernetes, Nomad)
- Strong knowledge of SQL/NoSQL databases and scaling practices
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Pulumi, CloudFormation, AWS CDK)
- Familiarity with configuration management tools (Ansible, Chef)
- Strong understanding of Linux, networking, and virtualization
- Ability to adapt across technologies and roles
