Job Description
An ambitious and motivated Second in Science is required to support the leadership and development of a successful Science department. This role is ideal for an outstanding classroom practitioner who demonstrates high professional standards, strong subject knowledge and a commitment to achieving excellent outcomes for students.
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Proven track record of successful teaching within Science at secondary level
- Strong subject knowledge and passion for Science education
- Ability to support departmental leadership and contribute to curriculum development
- Experience using assessment data to monitor progress and raise attainment
- Excellent organisational, communication and interpersonal skills
- High expectations of student behaviour, engagement and achievement
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people
