Senior Corporate Counsel, Data Privacy

Clario is seeking a Senior Corporate Counsel, Data Privacy to oversee global data privacy compliance, lead data privacy attorneys, and drive the development of Clario’s global data privacy compliance program.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited institution
• Active membership in good standing with at least one U.S. state bar
• Minimum of 7 years of experience operationalizing compliance with, and negotiating agreements under, global data privacy laws and regulations
• Prior experience managing attorneys and/or non‐attorney professionals, with demonstrated leadership capability
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Excellent legal judgment and business acumen with a pragmatic, risk‐based approach
• Ability to analyze complex data privacy laws and translate them into practical, implementable guidance
• Proven ability to clearly explain complex legal concepts to non‐legal audiences, both verbally and in writing
• Comfort managing multiple high‐priority initiatives in a fast‐paced environment
• Superior attention to detail with strong organizational and time‐management skills
• Collaborative, team‐oriented mindset
• Experience working in healthcare or another highly regulated industry
• Comfort advising on new technologies and handling sensitive data
