Clario is seeking a Senior Corporate Counsel, Data Privacy to oversee global data privacy compliance, lead data privacy attorneys, and drive the development of Clario’s global data privacy compliance program.
Requirements
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited institution
- Active membership in good standing with at least one U.S. state bar
- Minimum of 7 years of experience operationalizing compliance with, and negotiating agreements under, global data privacy laws and regulations
- Prior experience managing attorneys and/or non‐attorney professionals, with demonstrated leadership capability
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Excellent legal judgment and business acumen with a pragmatic, risk‐based approach
- Ability to analyze complex data privacy laws and translate them into practical, implementable guidance
- Proven ability to clearly explain complex legal concepts to non‐legal audiences, both verbally and in writing
- Comfort managing multiple high‐priority initiatives in a fast‐paced environment
- Superior attention to detail with strong organizational and time‐management skills
- Collaborative, team‐oriented mindset
- Experience working in healthcare or another highly regulated industry
- Comfort advising on new technologies and handling sensitive data
