The Site Civil Project Manager provides technical and people leadership for civil engineering projects through planning, evaluation, design, and implementation. This role leads study-phase and/or design-phase efforts across civil, environmental, construction, and industrial projects, while supporting the continued growth of Kleingers' Indianapolis office.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
- Active Professional Engineer (PE) license and Indiana licensure
- 5-8 years of civil engineering experience
- Advanced understanding of civil engineering principles, practices, and tools
- Knowledge of state and local regulations and ability to review projects for regulatory compliance
- Proficiency with CAD, Civil 3D, and related design, data, and analysis software
- Understanding of construction materials, methods, and tools for site and transportation infrastructure
- Strong problem-solving skills with a creative and analytical approach
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Highly detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy
- Comfort with public speaking
- Ability to assign work based on team members' strengths and skill levels
- Proven ability to motivate and lead teams to deliver projects on time, on budget, and accurately
