The Payroll Administrator is responsible for computing payrolls, processing transactions, and generating forms and reports. Requirements
- Proof changes, additions, and terminations paperwork against generator reports and data
- Perform data entry of transactions not handled by HR-Payroll interface/KRONOS/WIN
- Import hours for weekly payroll and transmit to payroll vendor
- Monitor Collective Agreements/unions, Prevailing Wage/SCA, and initiate changes to payroll vendor
- Prepare tax and 401K contribution transfers, generate reports, and calculate manual checks
- Maintain sick & vacation records, balances, accruals, and process corresponding year-end reporting
- Initiate stop payment and recall of direct deposits transactions, and check requests
- Complete employment verifications/ROE's, unemployment forms, worker’s compensation forms, and Levy and Garnishment documentation
- Perform reconciliation of deductions, weekly processing, monthly payroll reconciliations, and report discrepancies to Payroll Manager
- Prepare W-2s/T4's at year-end, maintain & distribute WCB Clearance Certificates
