TDG Tank Inspector

Clean Harbors is looking for a HM183 Tank Inspector to join their safety conscious team. The role involves performing visual, internal, pressure and leak tests on truck mounted tanks and other hazardous material certified tanks.

Requirements

• Ensuring Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes
• Performing VIPK inspections (visual, internal, pressure, leakage)
• Timely and accurate completion of all required paperwork
• Assisting with other repairs and preventative maintenance in shop as required
• Ordering parts and maintaining inventory as required
• Performing necessary tank test on units and ensuring compliance with all government and company standards and regulations
• Performing repairs to tanks within the inspector's qualifications
• Applying proper decaling to tanks
• Maintaining all tools and test equipment
• Assisting with finding qualified repair shops when necessary
