Job Description
Clean Harbors is looking for a HM183 Tank Inspector to join their safety conscious team. The position involves performing visual, internal, pressure and leak tests on truck mounted tanks and other hazardous material certified tanks. Requirements
- Ensuring Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes
- Performing VIPK inspections (visual, internal, pressure, leakage)
- Timely and accurate completion of all required paperwork
- Assisting with other repairs and preventative maintenance in shop as required
- Ordering parts and maintaining inventory as required
- Performing necessary tank test on units, and ensuring they comply with all government and company standards and regulations
- Performing repairs to tanks within the inspectors' qualifications
- Applying proper decaling to tanks
- Maintaining all tools and test equipment
- Assisting with finding qualified repair shops when necessary
