Dietary Aide-PRN

The Dietary Aide assists in the service of meals for patients, visitors, and staff, and assists in various processes related to the preparation and delivery of meals.

Requirements

• Prepares and/or pre-portions food for regular and therapeutic diets, according to the planned menu and as directed.
• Handles food using proper food handling and food safety techniques according to established policies and procedures.
• Cleans and sanitizes all food preparation equipment and ensures that it is kept in safe and operable condition.
• Completes general cleaning, maintenance, and sanitation of work area.
• Maintains records regarding patient diet information.
• Provides an environment conducive to safety for patients, visitors, and staff.
• Maintains regular attendance in keeping with assigned work schedule.
• Performs other duties as assigned to support overall effectiveness of the organization.
