Job Description
The Patient Care Technician, working under the direct supervision of Registered Nurse, is primarily responsible for providing direct, non-invasive bedside care to patients.
Requirements
- Prioritizes and delivers basic patient care, including bathing, toileting, feeding, grooming, etc.
- Performs and documents vital signs, measures and records intake and output, weights, specimen collections, etc.
- Reports any changes observed in condition or behavior of patient to appropriate nursing personnel.
- Maintains regular attendance in keeping with assigned work schedule.
