The Construction Safety Manager is responsible for all aspects of Construction Field safety at Clearway, providing safety support to the Construction organization, managing EPC safety requirements, and managing Clearway safety representatives at the sites.
Requirements
- 3-5 years' experience in safety and training, or 6 years of equivalent experience in related work discipline
- Previous experience in the power generation industry, wind or solar experience is highly preferred
- A high school diploma or GED is required
- Experience using a personal computer and standard business software
- SharePoint experience is preferred
- Ability to travel between plants 40 - 60% of the time
- Experience in construction safety preferable on renewable energy projects
- Strong understanding of 1926 OSHA standards
- Knowledge of applicable health and safety regulatory requirements
- Ability to operate effectively in a team environment – as team member and leader
- Ability to effectively communicate (written and verbal) at all levels of the organization
- Ability to effectively make presentations to large groups of people
- Ability to establish and maintain a positive and professional working relationship with all individuals
- Ability to read, create and follow written policies and procedures
- Ability to complete tasks on time without direct supervision
- Ability to multi-task
