The Construction Safety Manager is responsible for all aspects of Construction Field safety at Clearway, including managing Regional Construction Safety Specialists, coordinating with Construction Management and Site Managers, and developing a thorough understanding of the company safety program.
Requirements
- 3-5 years' experience in safety and training, or 6 years of equivalent experience in related work discipline
- Previous experience in the power generation industry, wind or solar experience is highly preferred
- A high school diploma or GED is required
- Experience using a personal computer and standard business software
- SharePoint experience is preferred
- Ability to travel between plants 40 - 60% of the time
- Experience in construction safety preferable on renewable energy projects
- Strong understanding of 1926 OSHA standards
- Knowledge of applicable health and safety regulatory requirements
- Ability to operate effectively in a team environment
- Ability to effectively communicate (written and verbal) at all levels of the organization
- Ability to effectively make presentations to large groups of people
- Ability to establish and maintain a positive and professional working relationship with all individuals
