The Sourcing Specialist will be responsible for procuring goods and/or services and supporting sourcing and purchasing needs for assigned stations/business units. The primary objective is to manage inventory and suppliers to deliver the highest quality, reliability, and value to meet company and station/business unit requirements.
Requirements
- Assist in gathering and analyzing industry, economic, market, and spend data.
- Develop and maintain relationships with current and potential suppliers.
- Develop, negotiate, and administer contracts with suppliers.
- Ensure timely delivery of goods/services.
- Coordinate resolution of accounts payable and delivery issues.
- Review and process claims against suppliers for unsatisfactory materials, delivery, or equipment.
- Ensure site warehouse personnel comply with Supply Chain policies and procedures.
- Execute practices to maintain optimal inventory levels while minimizing shortages and delays.
- Respond to audits, surveys, or other informational requests from internal and external sources.
- Actively promote and support the company's Supplier Diversity initiatives.
