Wind Technician is responsible for assisting in the performance of wind turbine mechanical, hydraulic, and electric component maintenance. The primary objective is to maintain safe, effective, efficient, and profitable wind turbine operation.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Able to climb towers unassisted up to 300 feet
- Valid driver's license
- Demonstrable mechanical aptitude and basic electrical knowledge
- Ability to read schematics and wiring diagrams
