Electrical Maintenance Engineer

Cleveland-Cliffs is seeking an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to work on autonomous teams at the New Carlisle Works production and maintenance organizations. The ideal candidate will have a broad grasp of electrical engineering techniques and principles, with experience in DC and AC drives, PLC and HMI setup, and power distribution equipment.

Requirements

• Develop solutions and implement projects that improve the process and focus on providing electrical and programming logic expertise
• Diagnose and troubleshoot programming, electrical and process issues
• Collaborate with various teams to install new and rebuilt production electrical systems
• Lead and/or monitor the electrical work of outside contractors
• Respond to emergency situations during and after hours
