Manager Indirect Tax

Cleveland-Cliffs Inc. is looking for a Manager of Indirect Tax to manage indirect tax compliance, planning, and audit inquiries and controversies. The Manager will work with Senior Tax Analysts and Tax Analysts to develop, train, and provide guidance on indirect taxes. The role involves gathering and refining financial information, reviewing tax returns, and managing tax planning activities to minimize indirect tax liabilities.

Requirements

• At least 6 years of experience in a corporate tax department or public accounting firm working directly on the preparation and review of complex indirect tax returns.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance required.
• Strong knowledge of indirect tax rules and concepts.
• Proficient in Onesource Property Tax or similar software used in the preparation of property tax returns.
• Strong technical, organizational, analytical, communication and learning skills.
