Advanced Practice Provider (NP/PA/CNS) - General GI & Advanced Endoscopy I

We're seeking an Advanced Practice Provider (NP/PA/CNS) for a new position in General GI & Advanced Endoscopy at the Main Campus. The ideal candidate will be self-directed, highly motivated, organized, and flexible, with the ability to work collaboratively across multiple disciplines.

Requirements

• Conduct thorough medical histories
• Perform complete physical examinations
• Initiate lab, radiology tests, or other special tests required for evaluation of illness
• Work with collaborating physician
• Perform and interpret laboratory, radiologic, cardiographic, and other routine diagnostic procedures
• Perform routine procedures such as injections, immunizations, suturing, and wound care
• Prescribe and monitor medications
• Perform specialized procedures such as bone marrow aspirations, biopsies, and harvests
• Provide information and answer questions about disease and medical specialty
• Educate patients regarding their disease, treatments, and related drug and treatment side effects
• Participate in medical team rounds
• Collaborate with nursing, medical, and other healthcare team members
• Refer patients to specialists
• Ensure continuity of care
• Perform research follow-up studies
• Assist in data analysis
• Participate in quality monitoring
• Facilitate appropriate length of stay, discharge planning, and compliance with regulatory standards
• May serve as clinical preceptor or faculty for onboarding new employees
