Job Description
The Cleveland Metropolitan School District is seeking a Full-Time Security Officer to ensure the safety of students, staff, and visitors in schools and facilities. The successful candidate will have experience in safety and security procedures, be able to work effectively with a variety of people, and possess a positive demeanor.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Previous experience in a related school or urban safety and security procedures
- OPOTC, 120 hours, private police certification, required
- Ability to work in a team environment with other officers, administrators, and staff
- Computer skills and ability to learn to operate computer software and operating systems
