Job Description
Cloudflare is looking for a Senior Systems Engineer - Traffic Management to join their team. The role involves building and extending various traffic management and supporting systems, working with a wide range of technologies and programming languages, and participating in on-call rotation.
Requirements
- Minimum of 6 years of engineering experience with networking and/or distributed systems.
- Systems-level programming experience in Go, Python, Rust, C, or C++.
- Strong knowledge of networking protocols in Layers 3 and 4 of the OSI Model.
- Knowledge of HTTP, TLS, and CDN networks.
- Experience in implementing secure and highly-available distributed systems.
- Strong ability to debug issues in complex systems.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills across teams and functions.
- Experience participating in an on-call rotation.
