Accounting Manager / Assistant Controller

Clozd is a leader in Decision Intelligence, and they're seeking an Accounting Manager/Assistant Controller to lead their accounting function and build it at the leading edge. The role involves partnering with the Controller to design financial processes, deploying automation, and owning the balance sheet, monthly close, and annual audit.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• 3+ years of accounting experience, including experience owning or substantially leading a monthly close
• Strong working knowledge of GAAP, with the ability to research and document technical positions
• Demonstrated experience automating or restructuring an accounting process
• Proficiency with NetSuite
• CPA certification
• ASC 606 / SaaS revenue recognition experience
• Audit experience, ideally as a primary point of contact
• Experience with deferred commissions and capitalized software
• Multi-state payroll and sales tax nexus experience
• Familiarity with finance automation tooling (Ramp, Bill.com) and AI/agent-based workflows
• Experience at a SaaS company
