CEVA Logistics seeks a Quality Supervisor to ensure client-specific protocols and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) are consistently implemented and strictly executed on the warehouse floor.
Requirements
- Ensure client SOPs and handling procedures are followed on the warehouse floor.
- Conduct regular floor audits and spot-checks to verify compliance with customer requirements.
- Identify deviations and implement immediate containment actions.
- Perform Root Cause Analysis on errors, damages, inventory discrepancies, and service failures.
- Propose workflow improvements to enhance quality, accuracy, and productivity.
- Monitor and perform trending on KPIs such as picking accuracy, checking accuracy, customer complaints and inventory accuracy.
- Prepares and presents quality performance reports and KPI metrics to internal and external stakeholders.
- Identify non-conformances, process inefficiencies, implementation gaps, and operational risks and promptly escalate to CEVA Operations and Quality Management.
- Supervises personnel in the daily inspection functions.
- Assists Regional QHSE Manager with the preparation of all quality reports and analyzes such reports to identify negative and positive quality trends.
- Provides leadership and guidance to all staff for continual improvement of key functions and activities to improve efficiency and meet increasing customer and business demands.
- Maintains a professional, helpful attitude in dealings with co-workers, supervisors and their departmental personnel at all times.
- Maintains a strong commitment to quality at all times.
- Responsible for managing the administrative tasks of validating Kronos punches and correcting missed punches (daily), executing the Corrective Action Responses and implementing corrective changes to meet the required timelines outlined in the process document and executing the Quarterly/Annual Employee Performance Appraisal processes meeting the HR timeline as published.
- Perform annual employee evaluations in accordance with Human Resources procedures.
- Conducts disciplinary actions as required.
- Complies with, and enforces all, safety regulations and requirements, as set forth within the established procedures and standards.
- Remains flexible with regard to job assignments at all times.
- Responsible for additional tasks as assigned to meet or exceed the expectations of customers and/ or business management based on our fluid business needs.
