CEVA Logistics is seeking a VP Business Development to lead the North American Ground and Rail sales organization, driving profitable growth, leading high-performing sales teams, and executing the end-to-end sales lifecycle in alignment with corporate strategy, policies, and values.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Finance, or a related field preferred.
- 12 to 15 years of progressive, successful sales leadership experience, ideally within transportation, logistics, or supply chain environments.
- Proven experience leading complex, multi-market sales organizations in a global or matrixed environment.
- Strong leadership capability with a track record of building and developing high-performing sales teams.
- Advanced commercial acumen, including pricing strategy, market analysis, and contract negotiations.
- Financial proficiency, including forecasting, budgeting, and evaluating ROI.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills with executive-level credibility.
- Ability to assess risk, understand commercial implications of solutions, and mitigate liabilities.
- High integrity and sound judgment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and relevant sales and CRM systems.
- Fluent in English with strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to effectively engage diverse, cross-functional stakeholders and external customers.
