Job Description
Addiction and Mental Health Worker, Crisis Stabilization Space. Provide short-term support for individuals experiencing mental health or addictions crisis. Empower individuals to make positive changes in their lives. Work with clients to address their immediate concerns and provide resources for long-term support.
Requirements
- Post-secondary education in a relevant field of study
- Ability to attend work regularly
- Training in crisis intervention and crisis resolution, including ASIST
- Extensive knowledge of community resources, service and support programs
- Working knowledge of a variety of treatment, intervention, and support strategies for mental health and addictions
