Job Description
As an Underwriting Specialist, National Accounts Property, you will be responsible for managing a complex book of business, developing underwriting policy and pricing strategy, and mentoring less experienced underwriters. You will have a strong technical expertise, underwriting skill, and knowledge of insurance and underwriting principles, practices, and procedures.
Requirements
- Advanced technical expertise, underwriting skill and high level of knowledge of insurance and underwriting principles, practices and procedures.
- Strong communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
- Advanced analytical and problem solving skills, with the ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects.
- Demonstrated leadership skills.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and other business-related software.
