We are seeking a Behavior Health Urgent Care Clinician to join our impact-driven organization and help us advance integrated mental and physical healthcare. The Clinician will focus on crisis evaluation and guiding individuals to effective, non-emergency care solutions.
Requirements
- Master’s Degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or Marriage and Family Therapy
- State licensure: Limited-Licensed Master’s Social Worker (LLMSW), Licensed Master’s Social Worker (LMSW), Limited-Licensed Professional Counselor (LLPC), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Limited-Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LLMFT), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Temporary Limited-License Psychologist (TLLP), OR Limited-Licensed Psychologist (LLP)
- At least 3 years of full-time experience in case management in a mental health setting
- At least 3 years of full-time experience in the human services field
- Working knowledge and understanding of mental illness, medications used in treating psychiatric disorders, and knowledge and experience with other interventions used to treat psychiatric disorders
- Working Knowledge of Person Centered Planning and clinical compliance practices
- Working knowledge of conflict resolution and crisis intervention
- Working knowledge of legal issues and civil rights applicable to providers of mental health services, such as commitment laws and procedures, duty to warn, duty to protect, guardianship, conservatorship, payee, Americans with Disabilities Act, the Mental Health Code.
