The Infant & Early Childhood Mental Health Specialist will provide intensive services to families, parents, and children who have multiple services needs and access to an array of mental health services and supports.
Requirements
- Master's degree in social work, Counseling, Psychology, or Marriage and Family Therapy
- State licensure: Limited-Licensed Master's Social Worker (LLMSW), Licensed Master's Social Worker (LMSW), Limited-Licensed Professional Counselor (LLPC), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Limited-Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LLMFT), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), OR Limited-Licensed Psychologist (LLP)
- Valid and unrestricted Michigan Driver's License
- Reliable transportation and current proof of auto insurance
- Two years clinical experience in individual and group psychotherapy using cognitive behavioral techniques under clinical supervision
- Prior experience working with all age groups including children; solution focused brief therapy; substance abuse and co-occurring disorders treatment; stages of change and/or motivational interviewing
