Job Description
Lab Technicians perform routine laboratory tests under close supervision to determine chemical or physical characteristics of samples. Lab Technicians ensure that their duties are completed accurately and delivered with high quality in a timely manner.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry or a related science preferred, or equivalent work experience
- Knowledgeable in ASTM standards
- Must be able to work with all chemical, petrochemical and petroleum products
- Must be able to differentiate between colors accurately by sight
- Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) experience preferred
- Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Access preferred
- Have a great work history with a track record of being responsible individual
- Detailed orientated
- Excellent communication skills
- Proficient in the use of laboratory equipment
