Job Description
Coastal Villages Longline, a subsidiary of Coastal Villages Region Fund, is seeking Assistant Engineers/Deckhands for its Longline vessels in the Pacific Ocean, Gulf of Alaska, Bering Sea, and Aleutian Islands. The role involves maintaining vessel engines, electrical, and hydraulic systems, assisting in deckhand duties, and performing various shipyard tasks. Current USCG licenses are not required, but preferrable, the position is not sedentary.
Requirements
- Current USCG License with endorsements and other merchant mariner documentation
- Basic math skills: addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
- Ability to perform these functions in stressful, noisy environments
