Co-Op (Intern) Embedded Software Engineering

As a Co-Op student, you will support the design, development, testing, and evaluation of electrical and software components and systems that support Coats product lines. Assist with software development activities, quality control efforts, and engineering reviews.

Requirements

• Review returned warranty components, categorize issues, and perform accurate data entry and analysis.
• Conduct testing and analysis on electronic components to identify failure mode and determine root causes.
• Summarize findings and communicate weekly results to the Quality and Warranty teams to support corrective actions.
• Assist in the development and documentation of test procedures and testing methodologies.
• Participate in software issue tracking, change reviews, and continuous improvement activities.
• Collaborate with Design Engineering, Service, Quality Engineering, and Manufacturing teams to resolve technical issues.
• Support Value Engineering initiatives to improve product performance and cost efficiency.
• Complete a meaningful engineering project within the co-op/internship timeframe.
• Foster and maintain positive, effective working relationships with all team members.
