Member of Technical Staff (Test Engineering)

Cockroach Labs is hiring a Member of Technical Staff (Test Engineering) to work on test infrastructure, exploratory testing, and performance and scalability. The ideal candidate will have experience with distributed systems, cloud infrastructure, and automated testing. The role requires 8+ years of experience as a software engineer, 1+ years of experience with GCP or AWS, and experience with database or distributed systems testing, static code analysis, or failure mode analysis.

Requirements

• Develop test strategies and methodologies.
• Build and scale test infrastructure.
• Build tools and frameworks to find bugs in complex distributed systems.
• Build static and dynamic analyzers.
• Perform at-scale cloud benchmarking.
• Prioritize and execute test suites that are representative of customers' workloads.
