Job Description
Our client is a commercial electrical contractor seeking an experienced Controller to lead accounting and financial operations. The ideal candidate brings strong accounting leadership experience and is comfortable in a dynamic environment.
Requirements
- 5+ years of accounting experience
- At least 2+ years in a leadership or senior-level role
- Prior experience in construction, contracting, or a related industry preferred
- Strong understanding of financial reporting, general ledger accounting, and internal controls
- Experience with accounting software and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Familiarity with construction accounting systems a plus
- Experience with payroll processing and basic HR functions preferred
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
