Job Description
Cogir Senior Living is seeking a Maintenance Director to oversee the physical plant operations of a senior living community. The Maintenance Director will be responsible for maintaining the structural integrity of the building, providing general upkeep, and managing preventative maintenance programs.
Requirements
- Use general maintenance equipment
- Organize and prioritize service requests and repairs
- Inspect grounds and buildings daily
- Maintain customer service relationships
- Work with Executive Director to obtain competitive bids
- Understand and adhere to budget guidelines
- Purchase supplies and vendor services
- Monitor inventory of parts and supplies
- Hire, train, and manage department staff
- Respond to resident and community emergencies
- Coordinate compliance with local, state, and federal building codes
- Conduct regular inspections and execute corrections
