The Maintenance Director is responsible for the community's day-to-day physical plant operations, maintaining the structural integrity of the building, and providing general upkeep of all company maintenance-related issues.
Requirements
- Use general maintenance equipment
- Organize and prioritize service requests and repairs
- Inspect grounds, buildings, and community features daily
- Maintain an excellent customer service relationship
- Work with the Executive Director to obtain competitive bids
- Understand and adhere to budget guidelines
- Purchase supplies/vendor services using standard purchase order systems
- Monitor inventory of parts and supplies
- Hire, train, and manage department staff
- Respond to resident and community emergencies
- Coordinate compliance with local, state, and federal building codes and regulations
