Director Corporate Security, Southeast Asia

The Director Corporate Security, Southeast Asia will be responsible for leading the development and execution of a scalable, risk-aligned physical security program across manufacturing sites, offices, labs, and R&D environments in Southeast Asia.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree
• Relevant professional certifications desirable
• Fluent in English; regional language skills are advantageous
• Minimum 10+ years’ experience in a corporate security management role or related role
• Experiencing implementing physical and procedural control measures—and influencing behaviors—to protect intellectual property, trade secrets, and confidential information in a high-precision manufacturing environment
• Previous exposure across a broad spectrum of corporate security domains including security risk assessment and auditing, manufacturing site security operations, personnel security, supply chain security, crisis management, etc.
• Familiarity with supply chain security standards (AEO, C-TPAT, TAPA)
• Demonstrated experience in leading/managing transformation initiatives, managing programs/projects, and utilizing operational excellence/continuous improvement methodologies to drive measurable results
• Vendor and budget management experience

• Entrepreneurial style—eager to create and build new capabilities and seek opportunities to embed security control measures and processes into existing business activities
• Skilled at delivering impactful training and communication, ensuring clarity and engagement

• Strong skills in drafting, reviewing, and updating standards, procedures, and governance frameworks
• Stays current on industry trends, emerging threats, and innovative security solutions to continuously enhance Coherent’s security posture
