Job Description
This position will work with senior equipment and process engineers to build new coating machines and develop new products in the thin film coating department. The ideal candidate will have a mechanical engineering degree, excellent communication skills, and hands-on experience with fabrication and CAD drawings.
Requirements
- Perform mechanical assembly and wiring of a new coating chamber
- Work with the process development team
- Use hand tools, shop tools, electrical testing tools, spectrophotometers, computers, and engineering software
- Lift up to 30 pounds occasionally
- Make 2-D CAD drawings
- Work in a lab and maintenance shop area, sometimes in a clean room
