Job Description
The Safety Officer role involves monitoring and ensuring compliance with environmental and occupational health and safety regulations, promoting and implementing EHS management systems, and leading 5S and Safety Good Catch programs. The ideal candidate should have a bachelor's degree in Environmental/Health/Safety Engineering, DENR Certificate of Accreditation as Pollution Control Officer, and at least 1 year of relevant experience in environmental and occupational health and safety management.
Requirements
- Bachelor's/College Degree in Engineering (Environmental/Health/Safety) or equivalent
- DENR Certificate of Accreditation as Pollution Control Officer
- DOLE- 40 hrs. Basic Occupational Safety and Health training
- At least 1 year of solid 5S Program implementation
- At least 1-years relevant experience in environmental and occupational health and safety management
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Positive and able to immediately respond to environment, health and safety concern
- Leadership skills to drive environmental health and safety initiatives and foster a culture of environmental health and safety responsibility
