Safety Officer

The Safety Officer will be responsible for monitoring and ensuring compliance with environmental and occupational health and safety regulations, as well as implementing and maintaining a 5S program and safety good catch program. The ideal candidate will have a background in environmental/health/safety engineering, a DENR Certificate of Accreditation as a Pollution Control Officer, and experience in environmental and occupational health and safety management.

Requirements

• Bachelor's/College Degree in Engineering (Environmental/Health/Safety)
• DENR Certificate of Accreditation as Pollution Control Officer
• DOLE-40 hrs. Basic Occupational Safety and Health training
• Knowledgeable in ISO 45001-2018 and ISO 14001-2015 principles
• Knowledgeable with DOLE, BFP, DENR, BFP, PEZA regulation in relation to environment occupational safety and health
• Good oral and written communication skills
• Leadership skills to drive environmental health and safety initiatives and foster a culture of environmental health and safety responsibility
• At least 1 year of solid 5S Program implementation experience
• At least 1-year relevant experience in environmental and occupational health and safety management
