Test Technician position at Coherent Corp. in Granby, CT, United States. Assemble and test optical fibers, document manufacturing process, and perform basic equipment maintenance.
Requirements
- Work per standard operating procedures
- Document the manufacturing process
- Inspect parts/assemblies under microscope
- Perform basic equipment maintenance & calibration
- Complete rework on assemblies and/or systems as a result of testing
- Assist recommending solutions to technical problems
- May assist in the selection and set-up of specialized test equipment
- Assist engineers as needed
- Cross-training in other areas as needed
- Computer literacy including data entry in Excel
- Ability to see details at close range
- Excellent hand to eye coordination
