Test Technician responsible for maintaining existing test infrastructure, supporting improvements and upgrades, and providing test equipment-related training to operators. The role requires a strong understanding of optics, mechanics, and electronics, as well as laboratory skills and proficiency in MS Office and similar software.
Requirements
- BS or equivalent degree
- Knowledge of optics, mechanics, and electronics
- Laboratory skills using high speed test equipment
- Cursory knowledge of programming or scripting languages
- Quick learner with abstract and foreign concepts
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong reporting, logging, and documentation skills
- Great self-management & prioritization skills
- Strong interpersonal/teaming skills
- Proficiency with MS Office and similar software
- Ability to juggle many tasks simultaneously and continually report on progress
- Ability to support a 24/7 manufacturing environment
