Executive Director/Vice President, Corporate Counsel

Coherus Oncology seeks a senior contracting attorney to manage the contracting function, negotiate and draft contracts, and advise on legal risks. The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of experience in a well-regarded law firm and/or in-house department, with a strong understanding of the pharmaceutical industry.

Requirements

• Law degree from an ABA accredited law school
• Admitted to CA bar in good standing or registered in-house counsel
• A minimum of 10 years of relevant legal experience
• A minimum of 5 years of pharmaceutical experience (preferred)
• Ability to draft, edit and explain complex legal and business contracts
• Strong work ethic and ability to work well under pressure
• Strong teamwork, project management, and client service skills
• Ability to independently juggle and prioritize multiple projects
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Ability to exercise independent judgment and discretion
• Highest regard for ethics and compliance
