Compliance Associate

Coinbase is seeking a Compliance Associate to contribute to the implementation and execution of the Compliance framework for Coinbase Luxembourg S.A. in alignment with applicable laws and regulations. The role will support AML/CFT Compliance, Compliance Monitoring and Testing, Regulatory Compliance and Monitoring, Policy & Framework Support, Regulatory Reporting, and Governance Support.

Requirements

• At least 3+ years of experience in Compliance, preferably in Luxembourg or an EU-regulated environment
• Solid working knowledge of EU financial regulations, including MiCA, PSD2, MiFID II, PSD, AMLD, DORA, GDPR
• Experience interacting with regulators and auditors
• Experience in policy drafting, monitoring/testing
• Ability to manage complexity and ambiguity in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication skills with fluency in English and French as a plus
• Strong Ownership, positive energy and a Deliver Results/Efficient Execution mindset
• Demonstrates the ability to responsibly use generative AI tools and copilots (e.g., LibreChat, Gemini, Glean) in daily workflows
