Regulatory Compliance Associate

Coinbase is seeking a Regulatory Compliance Associate to oversee and implement all aspects of Coinbase Australia’s regulatory compliance framework. The successful candidate will have 3+ years of experience in a compliance, regulatory, or risk role within Australian financial services, a working knowledge of the Corporations Act 2001, and strong attention to detail.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in a compliance, regulatory, or risk role within Australian financial services
• Working knowledge of the Corporations Act 2001 (particularly Chapter 7 — Financial Services and Markets) and ASIC regulatory guidance
• Strong attention to detail and ability to perform complex tasks accurately under time pressure
• Effective written communication skills
• Ability to work independently on BAU regulatory tasks while escalating appropriately when judgement calls arise
• Comfort operating in a fast-paced environment where processes are still being built
