Engineering Manager (Platform - Identity)

Coinbase is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead the Identity Accounts team, a critical platform that powers every user, organization, and account at Coinbase. The successful candidate will manage engineers, drive roadmap execution, and represent the team to internal product groups and partners.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in software engineering
• At least 2 years of engineering management experience leading teams of 5+ engineers
• Proven track record shipping large-scale distributed systems serving millions of users in production
• Technical fluency in coding, system design, API architecture, and reliability tradeoffs
• Strong communicator who writes clearly and builds organizational alignment
• Experience building and scaling high-performing engineering teams through hiring, developing, and promoting talent
