Job Description
Terus Construction, a division of Colas Western Canada Inc., is seeking a qualified Heavy Duty Mechanic to join our team in Revelstoke, BC. The job involves performing a variety of tasks involving manual labor in heavy/highway construction and construction material plants, maintaining a range of equipment, and troubleshooting malfunctions.
Requirements
- Experience working within a shop environment
- Minimum two (2) years experience working as a mechanic on construction equipment
- Minimum two (2) years of field experience
- Red Seal Certification
- Can work independently with minimal supervision
- Excellent planning and organizational skills
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Good computer skills in troubleshooting equipment software
