Project Coordinator

Terus Construction is seeking a Project Coordinator to join their team in Cranbrook, BC. The role involves coordination of site activities, communication with stakeholders, and monitoring compliance with quality control measures. The Project Coordinator will be responsible for project file setup, activity cost coding, and maintenance of safety and other project documentation. The role requires strong management, delegation, planning, and leadership skills, as well as a high level of time management, independent judgment, and reasoning.

Requirements

• Ability to understand construction drawings and specifications.
• Knowledge of construction equipment, materials and processes.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (excel, word, etc.).
• Knowledge of or ability to learn estimating software including Heavy Job and Heavy Bid.
• Strong management, delegation, planning, and leadership skills.
• Committed to enforcing company policies and procedures.
• High level of time management, independent judgment and reasoning.
• Ability to exercise cost control measures.
