Job Description
Collabera is a minority-owned Information Technology (IT) staffing firm seeking a Technical Writer for a contract position. The ideal candidate will have experience writing API documentation and working with UNIX, Python, or JavaScript. Responsibilities include producing high-quality documentation, creating tutorials, and reviewing release notes.
Requirements
- Proven working experience writing API documentation
- Experience writing simple shell scripts for REST API Examples
- Experience with UNIX, Python or JavaScript is desired
- Working knowledge of JSON and XML
- Experience with Swagger a plus.
- Ability to deliver high quality documentation paying attention to detail
- Ability to quickly grasp complex technical concepts and make them easily understandable in text and pictures
- Ability to work with minimal guidance
- Excellent written skills in English
- Strong working knowledge of MS Office
- Basic familiarity with the SDLC and software development
