Job Description
CSPNJ is seeking a full-time Housing Specialist to coordinate housing placements in the Central Region, focusing on developing relationships with stakeholders. The role involves providing technical assistance to support services, resident follow-up, and pro-active communication. It is a 40-hour-per-week, benefit-eligible position with a focus on mental health housing.
Requirements
- Develop and maintain relationships with brokers, landlords, linkage agencies, and referral sources.
- Provide technical assistance to the support services team on affordable housing development.
- Develop and maintain relationships with individuals living with mental illness.
- Provide pro-active follow-up home visits and resident support.
- Collaborate with individuals living with mental illness in a caring manner.
