Job Description
CSPNJ, a mental health nonprofit agency, is hiring a Team Leader to assist Outreach Workers in providing support to unsheltered homeless individuals in Atlantic County. This role involves street outreach, assessments, crisis intervention, and collaboration with community partners to connect clients with resources. 90% of the time will be spent out in the community engaging unhoused individuals.
Requirements
- Provide copy of High School Diploma / GED with equivalent work experience.
- Valid NJ Driver’s License with acceptable driving record.
- Knowledge of HMIS software a plus.
- Knowledge of poverty and homelessness causes, trends, issues and solutions.
- Detail oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
- Strong judgment and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Knowledge and experience working with diverse cultures and ethnicities.
- Proficiency in MS Office products.
- General computer literacy.
- Ability to work with individuals with mental illness.
- Bilingual skills are a plus.
